The Pro Complete Leak Detection Kit, like all of LeakTronics kits, is centered around the LT-1000 Amplifier. The proprietary technology in the LT-1000 powers all of LeakTronics listening equipment with unmatched sensitivity and control when listening for the sounds of leaks.

A leak detection begins with a full pool, clear water, and the equipment turned off. The weight of water in the pool pushing out of a crack, leak, pipe separation, pinhole, or crevasse makes a noise we begin listening for using the Pool Scope. As we approach a leak, the sound increases and allows you to pinpoint the areas where leaks occur. Precise, effective, and non-invasive leak detections are how professionals solve customers’ leak problems. The Pool Scope is our first go-to piece of equipment for finding leaks.

The Pipe Mic, a smaller version of LeakTronics Omni-directional hydrophones lets users get inside return lines, skimmer ports and slot drains where space is smaller but leaks still occur. It is equally as powerful as the Pool Scope but offers more maneuverability in tighter areas of the pool environment.

When it comes to sub-surface listening, the Pro Complete Kit includes a Deck Plate with an incredibly sensitive flat surface area that listens upwards of 5 feet underground and more through concrete, brick, and coping, on patios and decks and solid surface areas including hard dirt.

The Soil Probe is a versatile piece of equipment that listens through soil, landscaping, aggregate, and soft surfaces. The Soil Probe is ergonomically designed to let the user listen without bending and stooping to hone in on areas where pipes and plumbing run underground.

The Pressure Rig is included for pressure testing and injecting air and water into pipes. When an isolated pipe has proven to be losing pressure, by injecting air and water into the line, you’ll produce the boiling sound of a leak. With the DeckPlate and Soil Probe, we’ll pinpoint the location of leaks.

The Pro Complete Kit includes a small handheld Inspection Camera with a dye injection to see inside of light niches, plumbing that runs away from the pool, drains, and even skimmers where we can back up our findings using dye.

The VILO detects tears, pinholes, and separations in vinyl liners with precision. The complete kit includes the LT-1000 Amplifier, square-voltage transmitter, 2 separate probes built with durable industrial cable, and the highly sensitive Spot Mic for detecting leaks at drains, returns, lights, and all protrusions and the Pool Scope hydrophone – the go-to hydrophone for all swimming pool leak detections.

The VILO’s technology puts a steady square-voltage charge throughout the entire pool, regardless of where you place the float. The powerful square voltage allows the VILO Transmitter to accurately locate a ground where water is leaking through the liner, transmitting an electronic pulse that we’ll hear with our LT-1000 amplifier.

The F.L.A.S.H. Leak and Line Locator Complete Kit

F.L.A.S.H. stands for Frequency Location And Sound Hybrid. LeakTronics patented F.L.A.S.H Leak Locating System finds leaks from within lines and transmits a signal at the leak’s precise location. F.L.A.S.H. technology can be used to locate leaks, pipe separations, or cracks in swimming pool and spa plumbing, HVAC, gas lines, water mains, sewers, and a multitude of other applications. The F.L.A.S.H. is applicable to finding leaks in lines ranging from 1 to 60 inches in diameter and the F.L.A.S.H. System can also be used for underground line location.

Hand-Held Video Pro 1-1/2 Inch Camera

The Hand Held Video Pro 1.5 Pipe Camera is designed with a smaller head and gets inside smaller pipes and to maneuver through 1-1/2 inch lines – elbows included!

The Hand Held Video Pro Camera for 1-1/2 inch Pipes offers one of the best visual aids in the industry for seeing clearly inside pipes. The Hand Held Video Pro 1.5 is an invaluable tool for any leak detection professional.  The camera includes a digital metered counter, so we’ll know how far into the pipe the camera head is.

The camera screen provides the ability to display what is seen inside the pipe and provides an insightful view. With the recordable SD card and card reader, data can be photographed or captured to video.

The CamVac System

LeakTronics CamVac System uses the power of a controlled vacuum to create a visible leak that is easily seen using the Hand held Video Pro Cameras. The CamVac is perfect for standard plumbing, swimming pool applications; virtually anywhere there is a pipe leak.

By attaching the CamVac System to an isolated pipe and applying a controlled vacuum from the included pump, we’ll draw air into a water-filled line, or saturation into an empty pipe and see, without question, where the leak is in the pipe using the Held Video Pro Camera.

It takes just a small amount of vacuum – just 1-3 lbs – and the crack, leak, or break in the line is revealed. We’ll see the turbulence in the fluid of a water-filled line before we get to the leak – and when we do, we’ll see the extent of the damage in the line and be able to diagnose it instantly.

Using the meter counter or LeakTronics Sonde Technologies, we will know just where the leak is underground. We can identify the precise location of the leak and reduce invasive techniques for making the repair by knowing right where digging needs to take place.
